Upcoming Events State Horse Judging – May 1
Spring Yard Sale – May 8 The 4-H Spring Yard Sale is happenin’ on May 8th. Come on out and shop at this super big event. All the spaces have been rented and we’re sure there will be TONS of stuff to buy. Proceeds benefit the Exchange Club which is traveling to Western Colorado this summer.
4-H Adult Chaperone Training – May 18 Adult who are interested in getting certified for overnight 4-H events are invited to attend this training class. ALL NEW summer camp chaperones are required to attend. Others that are interested are required to complete an application prior to the class. The class begins at 6:00 pm and will end around 6:45 pm at the 4-H office. Please call our office to register and to receive more information.
4-H Summer Camp Chaperone Meeting – May 18 Adults attending Rock Eagle 4-H Center for camp on May 31-June 4 are to attend the camp chaperone meeting on May 18th. The meeting begins at 7:00 pm and will end around 9:00 pm and will be held at the 4-H office.
Northeast Junior Rally at Wahsega 4-H Center 6th, 7th and 8th grade 4-H’ers are invited to attend Junior Rally at Wahsega on May 15th and 16th. There will be tons of great things to do. Nature Hike, sports, low and high ropes, campfire, talent show and much more. Please click here for more information and to see the registration form.
Summer Camp Mandatory Parent Meeting (Rock Eagle only) – May 20 A parent/guardian of a child attending camp at Rock Eagle 4-H Center on May 31- June 4 is required to attend a meeting on May 20th, 6:00 pm at the Chicopee Woods Agricultural Center at1855 Calvary Church Rd, 30507. Please bring your child’s doctor name and telephone number and the name and telephone number of 2 emergency contact people. Your camper does NOT have to attend. Please call if you have any questions.
End of the Year 4-H Fun Trip – May 25 Let’s go to the ZOO! Join the 4-H staff for a fun day at Zoo Atlanta. We will also visit the Cyclorama and Mayfield Dairy. This is the LAST opportunity to spend your hard earned Bull Dawg Bucks. Click here for the registration form!
